| To announce that there must be no criticism of The President, or that we are to stand by The President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American Public. |

| Review by Critus |
| Cyric has gone bye-bye. Having fallen prey to his own
twisted plot from Prince of Lies, Cyric has gone quite insane. Brought
before the rest of the Gods and charged with failing to do his job as the God of
Strife, he manages to drag Mystra and Kelemvor (the new God of Death) into the
trial as well, saying that their love for humanity has blinded them to the need
to maintain the balance that the Gods are supposed to protect. The interesting
thing about this book is that it was told completely from the perspective of one
of Cyric's loyal followers, and primarily details his quest to cure his God's
ailments. I think I enjoyed this book the most out of the series. Not only did
it keep me interested until the end, but the bumbling incompetence of the
storyteller kept me amused to boot. The only reason the man made it through the
story is because he was granted protection from harm by the Gods. All in all,
these are some pretty good books and if you are looking for some fantasy brain
fluff they're worth the read.
